THE CHALLENGES

Toyo-Thai Corporation Public Co., Ltd. was awarded the EPC contract for the DAP2 VINACHEM Project in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam utilizing sulfur plant technology licensed from MECS.  The process required an intimate interfacing between several economizer & superheater modules interspersed between several catalytic reactors.  BIB responded on a Design, Supply & Commissioning basis to offer a customized steam system fully integrated to meet a variety of process conditions and performance requirements.

The key to this tender’s success was BIB’s ability to economically offer custom-designed WHB solutions to a fairly complex desulfurization process and leverage our growing experience in supporting process plant applications.

BIB’s solution is well suited to this application and will provide Vinachem a reliable source of steam needed for their power turbine.
